The Devastators have been nominated in the 2006 San Diego Music Awards in the category of "Best World Music."  This is the second time the band has been nominated in this category.  B-side Players have swept this category year after year, so if you want to see a Devastators upset vote today!  Voting is easy, simply CLICK HERE and you will be taken to the San Diego Music Awards website.  Once on the site click the vote now button in the menu.  You will be taken to an online ballot where you must fill in your name, email, and address to confirm your identity(and to keep people from voting multiple times).  Scroll down to "Best  World Music" category and select The Devastators.  Then click the vote button on the bottom of the screen to submit your ballot.  Your done!  There is no category for reggae music, so show your support for local reggae by voting for The Devastators in the World Music category.  Spread the word to friends, family, etc. as voting is open to all.  You may submit your votes until August 31st.  The awards ceremony will be held September 18th at Viejas Casino.  For more info visit the SD Music Awards website.
